-Pragmatics (questions of use; aspect of meaning which is dependent on the context), Historical linguistics -The history of Linguistics
-Psycholinguistics (relationships between linguistic behavior and psychological processes)
-Second Language Acquisition (The scientific process in which poeple learn a second language)
